To put it in simple terms, you sit, relax, breathe and let the salt do its job!

There are three primary characteristics of pure sodium chloride, NaCl, known as salt:

  1. Salt is super absorbent (especially when it is completely dry)
  2. Salt is anti-bacterial
  3. Salt is anti-inflammatory

Salt is placed into a halogenerator that precisely grinds the salt into specific micro-sized particles that are then dispersed as an aerosol into the air in a closed environment, our salt rooms.  As the salt travels in the salt room, these salt micro-particles are inhaled into the respiratory system, the larger salt particles land on the skin.

All salt sessions are 45 minutes in duration and start promptly on the hour throughout the day (see our hours and schedule). We ask our guests to arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to check-in, put on the provided slippers, lock up personal belongings, and change if desired. Lights will be dimmed in the salt rooms to provide a calm, peaceful atmosphere while you wait for your session to start.

The temperature in our salt rooms is kept cool (70-72 degrees) and humidity levels around 40% to help mimic the micro-climate of a salt cave. We provide guests with pillows but we ask that you provide your own, freshly washed blanket if you tend to get cold. You may bring your own book, magazine if desired. Spa music plays throughout the session at a comfortable level.

Our adult salt room accommodates 5 people every hour. The adult room is equipped with 5 zero-gravity chairs and pillows. By distributing your weight evenly, zero-gravity allows your muscles to enter a state of relaxation. Quiet your mind and let your eyes take in the glow of the imported pink rock salt and lamps.

Our private salt room is perfect for guest who want to expose areas of the body in privacy.  Our private salt room has suspended hammocks from the ceiling to make the experience even more surreal. These hammocks can also be hung on the wall for guest to lay down directly on the salt. This is are most versatile room, it can accommodate other wellness services such as Hand & Foot Detox, Reiki, Reflexology and Aromatherapy classes. This room is also wheelchair accessible.

Our family salt room is designed specially for families with kids under 10 years of age. We provide Covid friendly toys, toys that can be easily sanitized. We believe that our little guests benefit from unplugging from technology and encourage an electronic-free zone however we also get that sometimes a good movie and quiet time is also renewing for everyone so Netflix is always an option. Children must be supervised at all times.

Prices per person + HST. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time or there will be a $25 fee per instance.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to prepare for your session and store your belongings. Once the session has started, you will not be able to enter the salt room and you will have to re-schedule your appointment.

Unlimited plans allow unlimited visits per month, limit to 1 per day, for duration of plan. Unlimited packages are for one person, non-transferable and billed monthly.  ** Auto-Pay on credit card and agreement required for 3, 6 & 12 month packages. Unlimited Pass memberships paid in full receive an additional 10% discount. Family room includes 2 kids + parent – third child or second parent $20.00  – must be siblings. Introductory Offer is non-transferable, can ONLY be used in the adult or kids room and expires 90 days from first use. 4, 8, & 12 salt session packages expire 120 days from first use.
