History of Salt Therapy
It was in 1843 that the concept on which halotherapy was first published by a physician. Halotherapy is a 100% drug free, method developed by scientists and researchers as a means of concentrating the positive effects of salt observed in nature. Modern dry salt therapy has its origins from the salt mines and caves in Europe. As the workers were mining the salt, micro-sized salt particles were being disbursed into the air. These Miners experienced many natural health benefits by breathing in the salt particles.
Our Salt Rooms
Instead of the confined and enclosed European salt caves, we believe in creating a calming spa-like environment for our salt rooms in order to give clients a tranquil atmosphere where they can relax and take in all the benefits salt therapy as to offer.
Our Halogenerator crushes pharmaceutical grade pure sodium chloride (salt) and disperses it as a dry salt aerosol into the salt room. Clients only need to sit back and relax for 45 minutes and enjoy the tranquil setting, which some have described as being similar to a quiet day by the ocean.

Adult Salt Room
Our adult salt room accommodates 6 people every hour. The room is equipped with 4 zero-gravity chairs. By distributing your weight evenly, zero-gravity allows your muscles to enter a state of relaxation. We also have have 2 beach chair if people want to play with the salt while seated. This room is a common room, so no talking is allowed while session is in progress.
Private Salt Room
This private salt room experience is perfect for guests who wish to expose areas of the body in privacy (in bathing suit attire), or want to come and enjoy a session with a friend or partner. Our private salt room feature suspended hammocks from the ceiling, these hammocks can easily be removed if the guest requires to lay down directly on the salt.
Treatment Salt Room
Our treatment room, is a quiet room where we do most of our offerings. Massages, Reflexology, Reiki, Rapid Resolution Therapy, Intuitive Healing, Mediumship, Hand & Foot Detox and many more. This room offers all these services with the option to include salt therapy. It’s the best of both worlds, two therapies in one. Many people compare it to having a treatment at the beach!
Family Salt Room
We provide music, toys, puzzles, arts and crafts we hope our little guests benefit from unplugging from technology and encourage an electronic-free zone. Children must be supervised at all times and use their indoor voices. Our family salt room is designed for kids under 10 years of age. We accommodate one family at one time. Family room rate is for one family in the same household.
Each salt therapy session at Saltastic lasts 45 minutes. Sessions start every hour on the hour. Appointments are required.
You can read a book or even take a nap while relaxing to the calming background music playing in the room. Your comfort is ensured by our Zero-Gravity, NASA inspired chairs. With your feet elevated at your heart-level or slightly above, this position puts the least amount of strain on the spine neutralizing the effects of gravity. The Zero-Gravity recliners allow you to relax while you’re seated and lets the discs in your spine return to their normal shape.
We’ve created a sterilized and negative ion environment. Saltastic also uses the newest top-of-the-line halogenerators to crush pharmaceutical grade salt into small particles for inhalation re-creating the micro-climate from the salt caves.
Contraindications: Halotherapy not a medical treatment and does not offer a cure! Halotherapy is not recommended for people with contagious diseases, fever, open wounds, lung cancer, severe hypertension, mental disorders and active tuberculosis. Pregnant women should consult with their doctor before using Halotherapy. Anyone with serious health concerns needs to seek proper medical advice and care.

Cancelling a Salt Session Appointment
Your appointment time is reserved just for you! A late cancellation, or a missed visit, leaves a hole where we could have helped someone else. As such, we require 24-hour for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. When less than 24-hour’ notice is provided, or when the client misses the appointment with no notice, a full service fee will be charged ($40 fee for unlimited members) and all fees must be paid before your next scheduled appointment.
To help remind you of your scheduled appointment, we send e-mail reminders 72 hours before as a courtesy. Services cancelled and/or rescheduled within our cancellation policy will be honored for a future appointment. They do not expire.
Salt therapy sessions start on the hour, every hour. Once a session has started, you will not be permitted to enter the salt room and will have to reschedule.
