Meet Shannon – Your Partner in Preventive, Personalized Health.
Shannon is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist who brings warmth, wisdom, and over two decades of experience in the health and wellness space. Her journey into holistic nutrition began with her own health transformation more than 20 years ago—an experience that opened her eyes to the powerful role of food, lifestyle, and self-advocacy in achieving lasting wellness. Throughout her career in health promotion and healthcare—spanning public health, clinical care, and community work—Shannon saw firsthand the critical gaps in support for prevention and proactive health management.Â
This inspired her to help others feel empowered, informed, and in control of their own health. Shannon offers personalized, one-on-one consultations designed to prevent or reduce the impact of chronic conditions, support hormone balance, enhance energy, and help clients feel their best from the inside out. She believes in real food, realistic changes, and the idea that “our greatest wealth is health.” Shannon was licensed through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2010 and holds additional nutrition training in hormone health, breast cancer prevention, detoxification, and supplementation. She is a member in good standing with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition Alumni Association (CNNSAA) and the Canadian Association of Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-PRO). Shannon’s academic training also includes a Master of Public Health from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College, and a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University.
Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, feeling off balance, or simply ready to invest in improving your general health and well-being, Shannon is here to guide and support you—naturally.

Holistic Nutrition combines evidence-based nutrition with traditional wisdom to support overall health, recognizing the deep interconnection between the mind, body, lifestyle and environment. Holistic nutritionists understand body systems and their interactions with food and the environment, and use this knowledge to help clients address imbalances in the body in order to optimize health and restore energy and well-being. Holistic Nutrition examines diet as well as lifestyle habits, environment, and mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.
A Registered Holistic Nutritionist supports clients’ health goals by creating individualized nutrition and wellness programs for clients of all ages, that consider nutrient-dense foods, supplementation, and lifestyle modifications. Such health goals may include weight loss or weight gain, improved digestion, allergy management, hormone balancing, detoxification, chronic disease prevention and management, improved immune function, improved sleep, pediatric nutrition, and more.
A follow-up appointment with a holistic nutritionist is an essential step in your wellness journey. During this session, you’ll review your progress, discuss any challenges, and refine your personalized nutrition plan based on how your body is responding. It’s a supportive check-in designed to keep you on track, adjust recommendations as needed, and ensure your health goals remain within reach.
