Salt Room FAQs, Etiquette, Waivers & Cancellation Policy
FAQs
Start taking time for yourself and call to schedule an appointment. Before your session, please fill out the waiver (the link is at the bottom of your appointment confirmation email), also please make sure to wear comfortable clothing – preferably light colors, as the salt can show more on darker colored clothes. Please wear provided slippers while in the salt room. As a courtesy to other clients who are scent sensitive, please refrain from wearing scents (perfume, smoke, etc.) during your visit.
Our team will guide you on your path to wellness by asking a few questions so please arrive 15 minutes early. We will provide a detail explanation about salt therapy and answer any questions you may have about our salt rooms. We provide lockers to secure your belongings and water for before and after your session. If you tend to be cold, please bring a freshly washed blankets, the room temperature is 69 degrees.
Lay back in our zero-gravity chairs, get comfortable, and relax as you receive the benefits of salt therapy. We have recreated the micro-climate of a salt cave with a dry cool climate. The salt room has salt on the floor and walls. During your session you can read, nap, meditate, or use your own personal e-book. Phones are not permitted into the salt room as they have a built-in fan and will be damaged by the salt. – A salt therapy session is 45 minutes in duration.
You have your own space 6 feet apart, but others may cough or fall asleep. We are all here for healing, and be assured, no bacteria can survive or transmit to you in this super-salty environment. You may feel a slight tickle in your throat – that’s the salt doing its job. Salt therapy can have a naturally relaxing effect on your body, so expect to unwind and decompress. If you would like to be alone while salting, please reserve the private room upon booking.
Many experience the draining of their sinuses right away or hours later. You may feel lighter and renewed – as if you’ve floated into a euphoric state of relaxation. You can also expect to experience a good night’s rest after a session. You may feel some relief after one session but for the best results we recommend a series of sessions, remember that consistency is key!
SALT ROOM DO'S & DONT'S
All clients must fill out an intake waiver form (below) and receive an orientation prior to attending their first salt session. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your first session.
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your subsequent session start time to sign in and use the restroom, store belongings, adjust clothing, put on provided slippers, find reading materials, etc.
- Salt sessions begin promptly on the hour. Once a session has begun, no one will be permitted to enter the salt room. We need to maintain the proper salt concentration in the room, as well as to not disturb others. If you are late, you will be asked to reschedule your salt session for a different time.
- You are responsible for your own personal items. We do have a place to store your personal belongings, but we are not responsible for anything lost, damaged, or stolen.
- Dress in comfortable clothing – salt dust is harmless and can be brushed off clothing.
- To maintain a spa environment, we suggest that you use your time in the room to read, sleep or meditate.
You may bring the following items: book, ear plugs, or a freshly washed blanket. If you have a personal need that is not on this list, please let us know. - The salt rooms are electronic free zones.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the salt rooms. We encourage you to drink before and after your session. We have mineralized and alkaline water available for you in the locker room.
In Consideration of Others:
- Please do not leave the salt room while a session is in progress unless there is an emergency.
- Please no talking in the salt room and keep voices low in the reception area.
- Do not wear any perfumes, lotions, or any kinds of fragrances when you attend a salt session.
- If you prone to excessive coughing, kindly let us know in advance.
- If you are prone to excessive snoring, we encourage you to sit more upright, try to stay awake, and take deeper breaths during your treatments to reduce snoring. You are also welcomed to book a salt session in our private room.
- If you would like to experience complete silence during your session, please feel free to bring your own earplugs or book a salt session in our private salt room.
- Use of the salt rooms must be avoided during the acute or contagious phase of any illness, including, colds, flu, infections with a fever, acute active tuberculosis, cardiac insufficiency, COPD in 3rd stage, spitting of blood, alcohol or drug intoxication, unstable or uncontrolled hypertension and acute stages of respiratory diseases.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave our facility if our mindfulness etiquette is not respected. For you personal safety, the salt rooms are equipped with surveillance cameras (CCTV).

CANCELLATION POLICY
We totally get it. Life happens and sometimes you will need to cancel and reschedule your appointment with us. It’s totally okay.
We just ask that when you do need to cancel you give us a little heads up so we can fill your spot and help someone else.
Cancelling a Salt Session Appointment
Your appointment time is reserved just for you! A late cancellation, or a missed visit, leaves a hole where we could have helped someone else. As such, we require 24-hour for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. When less than 24-hour’ notice is provided, or when the client misses the appointment with no notice, a full service fee will be charged ($40 fee for unlimited members) and all fees must be paid before your next scheduled appointment.
To help remind you of your scheduled appointment, we send e-mail reminders 72 hours before as a courtesy.
Cancelling an Alternative Therapy Appointment
Your appointment time is reserved just for you! A late cancellation, or a missed visit, leaves a hole where we could have helped someone else. As such, we require 48-hour for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. When less than 48-hour’ notice is provided, or when the client misses the appointment with no notice, a full service fee will be charged and all fees must be paid before your next scheduled appointment.
To help remind you of your scheduled appointment, we send e-mail reminders 72 hours before as a courtesy.
Cancelling an Event, Class, Workshop or Clinic
We understand that occasionally plans change and you may not be able to attend the event, class, workshop or clinic, that you have registered for. In that case, we encourage you to ask a friend to take your place! While our events, classes, workshops & clinics are non-refundable, they can certainly be transferred with your permission. Please give us a call if you are transferring your appointment so we can make the necessary arrangements.
In the event that you are not able to find a friend to attend, please consider being a part of our “pay it forward” program. Just let us know if you can’t make it, and we’ll offer up your appointment to a member of the community who might not have been able to attend otherwise.
Please note that there is no refunds on any purchased services. Services cancelled and/or rescheduled within our cancellation policy will be honored for a future appointment. They do not expire.
SPA / STORE POLICY
Appointments are required, no walk-ins allowed.
Intro Offer is valid for 90 days after first use and is non-transferable.
Salt Packages are valid for 1 year after first use and are non-transferable. Packages can be shared with a partner. Family room is for one family at a time (all in the same household).
*Unlimited memberships require full payment or auto-pay on credit card. If monthly payments are the preferred option, contract/agreement needs to be signed. Unlimited memberships are non-transferable and cannot be cancelled, NO exemptions.
Products can be exchanged within 7 days of purchase with original packaging and receipt. FINAL SALE on skin care & bath products. NO Refunds on services purchased. Services cancelled and/or rescheduled within our cancellation policy will be honored for a future appointment. They do not expire.
